Public Policy & Regulation attorney Dimitrios Karakitsos was quoted in The New York Times discussing the team now taking charge at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under President Donald Trump, focusing on their understanding of agency policy and operations. This group, many of whom have significant industry ties and served during Trump's first term, is expected to begin rolling back Biden-Era environmental regulations. Mr. Karakitsos suggested their familiarity with the administration and executive branch gives them a strategic advantage.

"They understand the policies well, they understand the agency well, which puts them far ahead of where they were eight years ago," he said.
