Thirty-Eight Holland & Knight Attorneys Named Legal Elite, Hall of Fame Honorees and 'Up and Comers' by Florida Trend Magazine
MIAMI – June 21, 2012 – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that 38 of the firm's attorneys have been named to Florida Trend magazine's 2012 Legal Elite list. The Florida Legal Elite are the top lawyers practicing in Florida, according to the results of the magazine's statewide attorney surveys.
This year's list of 1,348 Legal Elite attorneys represents approximately 2 percent of the more than 67,000 Florida Bar members actively practicing in Florida.
This year, seven Holland & Knight attorneys were included in Florida Trend's Legal Elite Hall of Fame, which was created to honor those who have been Legal Elite winners for each of the past seven years. A diverse panel of lawyers was consulted to evaluate the Legal Elite and make the final selection of Hall of Fame honorees. Holland & Knight has more members of the Hall of Fame than any other law firm.
Additionally, Florida Bar members are asked to participate by naming three best "up and coming" attorneys who exhibit leadership in the law and in their local communities. An attorney must have practiced law for less than 10 years or be less than 40 years of age to be eligible.
