Holland & Knight’s Larry Pike Honored with Greater Good Award from The Georgia Planned Giving Council

Holland & Knight Partner Larry Pike was the recipient of The Georgia Planned Giving Council’s (GPGC) Greater Good Award at an award luncheon yesterday at the Buckhead Club.

The GPGC Greater Good Award recognizes individuals who are outstanding members of Georgia’s philanthropic community and focus on advising charitable individuals in order to increase the quantity and quality of planned gifts to charities in Georgia.

Mr. Pike is a member of Holland & Knight’s Private Wealth Services Group. His practice involves a broad range of legal services to corporations and individuals, including tax, business counseling, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning work and asset protection planning.

Mr. Pike currently serves as chair of the Emory University Planned Giving Advisory Council and in leadership roles with the Ansley Park Beautification Foundation and Society for Classical Reform Judaism. He previously served as president of several Atlanta-based organizations, including the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, The Temple, the Ansley Park Civic Association and the American Cancer Society Local Unit. He also served on the board of overseers of Hebrew Union College.

The GPGC is the statewide affiliate of The Partnership for Philanthropic Planning (PPP) for Georgia. PPP and GPGC are professional associations for professionals who develop, market and administer charitable planned gifts.
