David Mann, Former VP of External Affairs at Oberon Fuels, Joins Holland & Knight’s Public Policy & Regulation Group
WASHINGTON (January 31, 2024) – Holland & Knight welcomes David Mann as a senior policy advisor in Washington, D.C. Most recently, Mr. Mann was vice president of external affairs at Oberon Fuels, a California-based renewable energy company. He is a veteran of Holland & Knight, having worked from 2008 to 2014 with the firm.
Mr. Mann's practice is dedicated to the areas of climate change, including fuels policy, clean technology, energy and environmental policy, as well as federal funding and appropriations. His practice includes representing technology developers, trade associations and large industrial and power companies. Mr. Mann works extensively with Congress, federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and third parties to advance client solutions and projects.
At Oberon, Mr. Mann directed all local, state, federal and international regulatory, advocacy and lobbying efforts. Prior to joining Oberon, he was a senior director for the American Chemistry Council.

Mr. Mann earned an MBA degree from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business and a B.A. degree from Swarthmore College.
