Overview
Mason Borneman is a healthcare regulatory attorney in Holland & Knight's Nashville office. Mr. Borneman advises hospitals, health systems and other healthcare industry clients on regulatory matters, including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), Stark Law, corporate practice of medicine and False Claims Act (FCA) compliance. Mr. Borneman also advises clients on day-to-day operational issues, licensing, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and other regulatory issues.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Borneman worked as a legal extern in the Office of Legal Services at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. In the community, Mr. Borneman is passionate about advocating for individuals with disabilities as a mentor with Best Buddies Tennessee.
