Overview
Michael M. Castillo advises high-net-worth individuals, families and closely held businesses on sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer strategies and tax-efficient structuring, helping clients preserve wealth and plan thoughtfully for its transfer. Based in Miami, Michael is a member of Holland & Knight's Private Wealth Services Group.
Michael works with clients to develop planning strategies that reflect both their financial and family objectives, with careful attention to tax efficiency.
Before joining the Firm, Michael served as a judicial intern to Judge Melissa Damian of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
During law school, Michael served as an editor of the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review and was an active member of the Cuban American Bar Association's Miami Law Student Chapter.
