Alexandra Francesca Cimo

Alexandra Cimo is a real estate attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami office whose practice focuses on land use, zoning and development approvals.

Ms. Cimo represents developers, property owners and investors in all aspects of the land use and entitlement process for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments throughout South Florida. She guides clients through complex regulatory and governmental approval processes, helping position projects for successful development while balancing legal, business and community considerations.

Ms. Cimo's experience includes representing clients on comprehensive plan amendments, rezonings, zoning district boundary changes, variances, special exceptions, site plan approvals, special permits, code enforcement proceedings and other local land use matters. She has experience working with municipal staff, planning agencies and elected officials across Miami-Dade County, including the City of Miami, Coral Gables, Doral, South Miami and other South Florida jurisdictions to efficiently advance development projects.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Cimo was an attorney at a Miami-based commercial law firm.
