Overview

Malcolm Deisz is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Boston office and a member of the Tax Credit & Community Development Finance Practice. Mr. Deisz advises on business and tax matters, with a focus on transactions financed by the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) and New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC), supporting projects that expand access to housing and community investment.

Mr. Deisz brings a grounded perspective to his practice, shaped by his earlier role as a social worker, where he assisted families in accessing housing and rental subsidy programs. That experience provides him with a deep understanding of the impact of affordable housing development.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Deisz was an attorney at a mid-size law firm, where he focused on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, contract negotiations and financing.
