Overview
Maria Camila Dickerson is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Houston office and a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Ms. Dickerson's litigation experience includes drafting pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, discovery management, taking depositions, witness preparation and examination, settlement negotiations and developing trial strategies.
Ms. Dickerson represents clients in a variety of industry sectors, including financial services, hospitality, entertainment and healthcare. She has handled cases across a broad range of legal issues, including complex commercial disputes, breach of contract, sovereign immunity, trademark infringement and trade secret litigation in both federal and state venues.
While in law school, Ms. Dickerson interned with a well-known oilfield services company, where she assisted in corporate governance, regularly communicated with various state departments throughout the U.S. regarding entity conversions, and drafted powers of attorney for employees abroad to represent the company in litigation. In addition, she was a notes and comments editor for the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal.
