Katherine M. Fahey

Katherine Fahey is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Boston office and a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Ms. Fahey focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes, government and internal investigations, securities and shareholder litigation, post-closing disputes and appeals, as well as litigation related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Before returning to private practice, Ms. Fahey was an assistant attorney general in the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General, where she served in the Constitutional and Administrative Law Division. In that role, she defended state agencies and employees in a wide range of civil actions, including constitutional challenges to state action and appellate review of agency decisions. She also briefed and argued numerous matters before Massachusetts appellate courts.

Previously, Ms. Fahey clerked for the Honorable Indira Talwani of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She began her legal career at a global law firm in its Boston office, where she was a member of the litigation and dispute resolution practice.
