Kimberly A. Gardner

Kimberly A. Gardner is the Chief Operating Officer of Holland & Knight. Ms. Gardner oversees the firm's global business and financial operations, and works closely with the firm's other senior leaders on development and implementation of strategy and innovation initiatives.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Gardner gained a wide range of experience through a succession of professional services, financial industry management and then law firm management positions, all based in New York City.

Ms. Gardner began her career as an accountant and a management consultant at Deloitte, and then held a series of financial management roles at Equitable Capital Management Corporation, including controller. When Equitable Capital was merged into Alliance Capital Management LP, she became a senior vice president of Alliance with financial, marketing and operational responsibilities. Ms. Gardner then joined Shearman & Sterling LLP, serving four years as chief financial officer and 18 years as executive director, and after that formed Synergy Consulting Services LLC to practice as a law firm strategy and operational performance consultant.

Ms. Gardner is a frequent speaker at legal industry conferences.
