Tooba Hussain

Tooba Hussain is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Philadelphia office and a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Ms. Hussain focuses on government investigations and enforcement matters as well as complex commercial litigation.

Ms. Hussain has experience representing individual and institutional clients in investigations and enforcement actions by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and other government entities.

Ms. Hussain has also represented public and private companies in internal investigations and high-stakes litigation in state and federal courts across the country, with a focus on matters involving corporate governance issues, allegations of fraud and misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, shareholder demands and employment disputes.

Ms. Hussain has also developed a robust pro bono practice that has spanned deportation defense, immigrant rights work, prisoners' rights litigation, advising on expungement for victims of sex trafficking and tenant representation in eviction actions.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Hussain was a litigator at another international law firm.
