Overview
Natalie Molz is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Philadelphia office. Ms. Molz represents individuals and commercial clients in a variety of complex matters arising from business disputes.
Ms. Molz has extensive litigation experience through her involvement in a variety of commercial litigation and professional liability matters, including unfair competition under state and federal law and a wide range of business torts and contract disputes. Her experience includes handling defamation cases, breach of fiduciary duty and partnership disputes, fraud cases, employment matters and the enforcement of restrictive covenants.
Ms. Molz has been a member of multiple trial teams in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Texas. She also has extensive experience in the state and federal appellate courts, including the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, the Supreme Court of Delaware and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Molz was a partner at a regional law firm in its Philadelphia office.
Representative Experience
- Obtained a complete defense victory for an insurance brokerage client after a five-week jury trial in Houston in connection with professional negligence, fraud and civil conspiracy claims arising out of the procurement of insurance
- Secured a full defense verdict in a Lanham Act unfair competition case after a four-week jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey
- Prevailed in the defense of a higher education institution against a student's wrongful expulsion and student handbook violation claims after a 10-day bench trial in Philadelphia
- Secured a major victory for landowners in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit's en banc ruling that overturned 50 years of precedent regarding the construction of pipelines and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's review process under the Natural Gas Act
- Represented a business owner in a month-long jury trial in Camden, New Jersey, in connection with breach of partnership agreement and fraud claims, and secured favorable settlement of legal malpractice claims before trial
