Amber N. Morton

Amber N. Morton represents fiduciary and beneficiary clients in complex trusts and estates litigation in state and federal courts, helping them resolve disputes over trusts, estates and fiduciary obligations through negotiation, mediation or trial. Based in Los Angeles, she is a seasoned litigator and a member of Holland & Knight's Private Wealth Services Group and its Private Client Dispute Resolution Group, handling trust and will contests, contested conservatorships, breach of fiduciary duty matters and financial elder abuse claims.

Amber provides representation across every phase of a dispute. Before a lawsuit is filed, she offers pre-litigation advice designed to mitigate, avoid or resolve conflicts. Once litigation begins, she advocates for clients through discovery, law and motion, trial preparation and trial.

Throughout each matter, Amber keeps the focus on the best resolution for the client, whether that comes through settlement negotiations, mediation or trial. This approach helps clients weigh their options and pursue outcomes that serve their broader interests.

Amber gained early appellate exposure as a judicial extern for Judge Stephen Reinhardt of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. During law school, she was president of the Latino Law Students Association, a copy editor for the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice and a certified intern for the Post-Conviction Justice Project. Together, these experiences inform the rigor and advocacy she brings to clients navigating contentious family and fiduciary disputes.
