Overview
Nishma Patel is a civil litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Charlotte office. As a member of Holland & Knight's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice, Ms. Patel focuses her practice in the area of complex commercial and business litigation matters in state and federal court. She is experienced in assisting clients resolve complex disputes through negotiation, mediation and litigation.
Ms. Patel has extensive experience representing clients in a wide range of legal actions involving real estate, including landlord/tenant disputes, residential and commercial foreclosures, and real estate receiverships. Additionally, she has protected client interests in encroachment matters, partition litigation, adverse possession disputes and easement matters.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Patel worked as an associate attorney with a focus in construction, real estate, business and employment litigation. Before joining private practice, Ms. Patel served as a felony prosecutor, during which time she tried hundreds of cases to verdict.
