Overview
Samantha Reinstein is a legislative assistant in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office and a member of the Public Policy & Regulation Group. Ms. Reinstein primarily assists with legislative and regulatory matters related to transportation and infrastructure policy.
Ms. Reinstein is experienced in navigating federal grant programs to support investment in clean energy and transportation infrastructure. She has in-depth knowledge of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), along with a strong understanding of their regulatory provisions and grant allocations.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight in her current position, Ms. Reinstein served as a public policy and regulation intern in the Washington D.C., office, where she gained experience in a wide range of policy areas, including healthcare, education, clean technology and local government. After returning as a senior intern, she focused on transportation policy, establishing the foundation for her current work.
Previously, Ms. Reinstein was an intern for Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.), where she researched infrastructure grants, assisted with constituent casework and drafted detailed policy analyses.
