Overview

Kathryn J. Richards is a Los Angeles litigation attorney and a member of Holland & Knight's West Coast Litigation Practice Group.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Richards was a summer associate in the firm's Los Angeles office. In this role, Ms. Richards gained experience assisting on a broad range of civil litigation matters, including class action defense, breach of contract, construction disputes and mass tort litigation. She also actively assisted on pro bono matters.

While in law school, Ms. Richards competed in the National Moot Court Competition and the Federal Bar Association (FBA) Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court Competition. She was also the chief research editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review and the secretary for the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society. In addition, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable R. Gary Klausner of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Richards received the William Tell Aggeler Award in recognition of having the highest grade point average in her law school class.
