Madeleine Vasily
Associate
Overview
Madeleine Vasily represents individuals, families and charitable institutions, as well as high-net-worth individuals and their entities, in complex trusts and estates litigation, helping clients protect their interests when disputes arise over family wealth and fiduciary responsibility. Based in Los Angeles, she handles will and trust disputes, breach of fiduciary duty matters and elder abuse claims.
Madeleine's litigation practice is informed by federal court experience and a strong record in advocacy training. She served as a judicial extern to Judge Alexander F. MacKinnon of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. During law school, she competed in the Hale Moot Court Honors Program, was named its 2018-2019 champion and served as an editor for the program in 2019-2020. This foundation in written and oral advocacy helps her guide clients through sensitive trust and estate disputes with clarity and focus.
Before joining Holland & Knight as an associate, Madeleine was a summer associate in the Los Angeles office.
