Thomas R. Woodrow is a partner in Holland & Knight's Chicago office. Mr. Woodrow focuses his practice on litigation matters, primarily complex product liability, toxic tort/asbestos and commercial cases. He handles and tries in several state and federal trial courts and supervises and coordinates local counsel in numerous venues across the country. He also manages a toxic tort/asbestos docket of over 100 cases in Illinois.

As an adjunct to his litigation practice, Mr. Woodrow has represented major manufacturers as settlement counsel for several years. He helped design and implement a program for one client that was awarded the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution's (the CPR Institute) "Outstanding Practical Achievement Award" in the area of dispute resolution. Mr. Woodrow has attended hundreds of mediations and settlement conferences as settlement counsel, and he has developed and implemented settlement strategies for complicated, multi-party cases. Recently, he has become more active in the mediation of cases as a neutral evaluator.

Mr. Woodrow also writes and speaks on the topics of product liability and settlement strategy. He has made presentations to a number of domestic and international organizations, including the American Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section, the San Antonio chapter of Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), the CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution, the International Academy of Mediators (IAM), the Association of Attorney-Mediators, the Danish-American Business Forum and the Brazil-American Chamber of Commerce.
