Biografía
David I. Holtzman is an attorney in Holland & Knight's San Francisco office and a member of the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group and the national Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry Team. Mr. Holtzman focuses his practice on general commercial litigation and healthcare litigation.
Mr. Holtzman has extensive experience representing companies, individuals and public entities in a broad array of civil disputes in state and federal courts nationwide, as well as arbitrations and mediations. His experience includes representing clients in bench and jury trials and in appeals.
Mr. Holtzman has broad experience litigating in healthcare, privacy and commercial disputes. He has represented healthcare clients in trade secret, copyright, pricing and privacy disputes. He also counsels clients in connection with healthcare investigations, including under the False Claims Act (FCA). Mr. Holtzman also has experience defending class actions, including those involving claims under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Mr. Holtzman also represents diverse clients in commercial litigation, including in the hospitality, technology, transportation and music industries.
During law school, Mr. Holtzman served on the Georgetown Law Journal as an executive editor for the Annual Review of Criminal Procedure. Prior to law school, he worked at a criminal defense firm.
