Forum on Air & Space Law Annual Meeting

Aviation Co-Chair Anita Mosner and Partner Fred Bass will speak at the ABA's Forum on Air & Space Law Annual Meeting.

Ms. Mosner will moderate a panel titled "Reshaping the Airline Industry: A Look at Consolidation and Change." The recent wave of airline consolidation has had a profound impact on both the US and international airline markets. This panel will address the resulting structural changes to the industry and the evolution of the regulatory review of such changes.

Mr. Bass will speak on a panel titled "Aircraft Finance: Buy, Lease or Borrow?" When acquiring an aircraft, an airline has several financing options, such as whether to pay cash, to borrow the money or to lease the equipment. Mr. Bass will explore the questions and issues faced by an airline as it seeks to expand its fleet in the most cost-effective manner.
