Novogradac & Company New Markets Tax Credit Conference

New Markets Tax Credit Partner Jeffrey Gaulin and Associate Sameer Patel will speak at the Novogradac & Company New Markets Tax Credit Conference.

Mr. Gaulin will speak on a panel titled "Life Cycle of an NMTC Transaction." So often there is an intense focus on “getting to closing” that it’s easy to lose sight of what CDEs, project sponsors and investors must actually do for the next seven years.  Mr. Gaulin will describe the lifecycle of a NMTC transaction, effective ways to manage the requirements and what to do to prepare for Year 7.

Mr. Patel will participate in a Pre-Conference Workshop titled "NMTC 101: The Basics." This all day course is a prerequisite for anyone wanting to use NMTCs.  Industry experts will break down the entire NMTC program into easily understandable topics. The NMTC is a valuable tool and when this workshop is over, you will have an understanding of where you fit into the program and how to navigate through the program’s complexities.  The topics are geared to those who have little to no experience and the presentation is interactive.
