Tax attorneys Joshua Odintz and Jeffrey Korenblatt will speak at the 34th Annual Institute on Current Issues in International Taxation in Washington, D.C. This conference will address key issues faced by tax practitioners, corporate tax executives and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Mr. Odintz will speak on a panel that will expand on the mobile executives presentation that was given at the 2022 Institute, focusing on the United Nations release on the taxation of nomads and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) rules that are expected to be issued before the conference. The speakers will also touch on cases, rulings and regulations issued since last year. Mr. Korenblatt will speak on a panel that will discuss recent developments involving U.S. tax treaties, including the Chile Treaty and the significance of the reservation language on double taxation, the Croatia Treaty and the continued evolution of the 2016 U.S. Model Treaty.
