Flooding the Zone: Trump's All-of-the-Above Approach to Energy

Energy attorney Jim Noe will speak at the Institute for Energy Law's (IEL) Lower Carbon Conference in Houston, Texas. The program will examine the evolving legal, regulatory and commercial landscape for the transition to a lower-carbon economy, from ways to reduce carbon in the energy industry, in particular the oil and gas sector, to short- and long-term forecasts for the future. Mr. Noe's session will open the day and will delve into President Donald Trump's energy policy. The first few months of Trump's second term have seen a focus on energy dominance, with a flurry of executive orders and rulemaking intended to remove what are deemed regulatory burdens, adjust financial incentives and restructure federal agencies. Mr. Noe will share reactions and analysis of this activity as well as explore what the next three years could bring.
