Research Year in Review

Healthcare attorney Summer Martin and Public Affairs Advisor Sarah Crossan will speak at the 2025 HCCA Research Compliance Conference in Orlando. During their presentation, "Research Year in Review," Ms. Martin and Ms. Crossan will review significant updates from agencies including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP), HHS' Office of Inspector General (OIG) and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). They will discuss key enforcement cases affecting research risks highlight issues that U.S. compliance officers should have on their radar. The session will also share best practices for research compliance professionals looking to reduce regulatory and compliance risks.
