Private Sector Perspective: Innovation, Investment and Project Viability for Solar and Wind Projects in the Energy Transition

Energy & Natural Resources Industry Sector Group Co‑Chair José Vicente Zapata will speak at an event hosted by Universidad del Rosario and the Instituto Colombiano de Derecho Ambiental y Desarrollo Sostenible (ICADS) focused on the challenges and opportunities facing solar and wind projects within the framework of an energy transition in Colombia. Mr. Zapata will describe the private sector perspective on how recent regulatory changes are influencing investment decisions, project viability and innovation in renewable energy development. He will also share observations on strategies companies are adopting to navigate evolving environmental compliance obligations, as well as the conditions needed to strengthen investor confidence and advance sustainable energy projects in the country.
