Firearms Offenses

Litigation attorney Cal Albritton will speak at the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich 35th Annual National Seminar on Federal Sentencing in Orlando, Florida. Holland & Knight will sponsor this program, which opens with a training session on Federal Sentencing Guidelines before continuing with panels on legislative developments in the criminal justice system, role of mental health disorders and substance abuse in federal sentencing, the government's approach to economic crimes, ethical issues that arise in sentencing and more. Mr. Albritton will once again lead a presentation on guidelines applicable to firearms offenses, pairing an outline of stipulations in this area with a discussion of the constitutional environment surrounding federal prosecution and sentencing.
