Overview

Callan "Cal" Albritton is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Tampa office. Mr. Albritton focuses his practice on high-value business disputes and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Albritton also is experienced in government investigations and matters involving the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), and he has significant experience in jury trials, non-jury trials and arbitrations.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Albritton spent almost a decade with the DOJ as an Assistant U.S. Attorney (AUSA), where he gained experience as lead counsel in numerous civil and criminal trials. In the Civil Division, he developed an in-depth knowledge of employment and catastrophic personal injury matters. As a criminal AUSA, Mr. Albritton conducted investigations under the Wiretap Act and acquired significant experience in regulatory matters involving the National Firearms Act and Gun Control Act. He also oversaw numerous grand jury investigations.

Before joining the DOJ, Mr. Albritton clerked for the Honorable Anthony E. Porcelli of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Mr. Albritton previously worked in private practice, representing clients in commercial litigation and financial regulatory matters, particularly in broker-dealer defense and securities regulation.
