On March 1, 2011, Pemex Exploración y Producción (“PEMEX”) published in the Federal Official Gazette of Mexico a much anticipated call and bid rules for an international public bid for services for the evaluation, development, and production of hydrocarbons in the contractual areas of Magallanes, Carrizo, and Santuario in the southern region (Tabasco).
