Q&A with Associate Meaghan Colligan

This month's Hot Topic features Associate Meaghan Colligan, whose former work educating elementary school students with Teach For America led her down the road to practice environmental law. In the Q&A, Ms. Colligan discusses her experience with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), which are currently the subject of increasing regulatory attention, litigation, and state and federal enforcement.
Ms. Colligan advises real estate, manufacturing, transportation and corporate clients regarding a breadth of environmental matters, including providing permitting and remediation advice for real estate and brownfield development projects, litigation in state and federal courts, and regulatory compliance counseling. She also performs due diligence and evaluates environmental risks in commercial transactions, drafting environmental provisions in a variety of agreements to protect clients' interests across a wide range of industries.
