Holland & Knight’s Bob Grammig: The RNC Host Committee’s Lawyer

Even though the election is over, Holland & Knight Partner Bob Grammig is still consumed with the details of the 2012 Republican National Convention. As general counsel to the 2012 Tampa Bay Host Committee, Grammig has spent the past three years leading a small army of lawyers charged with sorting out the legal aspects of one of the biggest political events in Tampa’s history.

"The convention was a great opportunity for the Tampa Bay region and the state of Florida to showcase their strengths,” Mr. Grammig said. “It was a huge undertaking that demonstrated how significant achievements can be accomplished through the initiative of private citizens backed by thoughtful and cooperative government."
