Holland & Knight Pro Bono Team Takes On Attorney Defense

Holland & Knight recently launched the Attorneys Defense Initiative that assists lawyers with navigating disciplinary actions amid financial and emotional turmoil. Litigation attorney Trisha Rich is spearheading the program and says that the organization has gotten commitments from about 35 lawyers to donate time.

"We had no idea if anyone was going to call us or if it was going to be 5,000 people the first day," Ms. Rich said. "The more we look at it ... the more we're figuring out there is a huge need for this in the pro bono world."
