U.S. Transportation Secretary nominee Elaine Chao is well-versed in the shipping industry, starting after high school when she worked a summer job in the library at maritime law firm Haight, Gardner, Poor & Havens, which later merged with Holland & Knight. Attorney Jovi Tenev weighed in on Ms. Chao's time at the law firm.

"She was well regarded by everyone here," said. Mr. Tenev.
