Real Estate Attorney Sara Heskett weighs in on low income housing tax credit (LIHTC) programs and its impact on Portland's affordable housing issues.
"The importance of the LIHTC cannot be overstated: We simply have no other tool in this country that is as effective in creating affordable housing," Ms. Heskett said.
"Now and for the foreseeable future, housing is becoming increasingly expensive as the demand for stable, affordable housing is spiraling."
