Global Arbitration Review

In connection with their promotions to partner, Katharine Menéndez de la Cuesta and Orlando Segura were highlighted in a Global Arbitration Review article. The article focuses on their career paths to partner, as well as recent engagements they are tackling.

Ms. Menéndez de la Cuesta, a Miami attorney, handles international litigation and arbitration matters. Columbia University Law School Professor and a former colleague of Ms. Menéndez de la Cuesta, George A. Bermann, comments on her abilities as a lawyer.

"Rarely has come along to me a young jurist presenting as clearly as Katharine and with such a remarkable combination of talent, motivation, energy, smarts, good will and good character," Mr. Bermann commented. He explains that Ms. Menéndez de la Cuesta "not only adds to Holland & Knight's luster; she brings honor to the profession."

Mr. Segura, an Austin-based attorney, also handles commercial litigation with a focus on international disputes. He is currently representing a global energy company in a dispute pending in South America, among other matters.

Adolfo Jimenez, head of Holland & Knight's International Arbitration and Litigation Team, praises both Ms. Menéndez de la Cuesta and Mr. Segura.

"Their excellent work further strengthens the firm's reputation in the area of international arbitration," said Mr. Jimenez.
