West Coast Land Use and Environment Attorney Ryan Leaderman was quoted in a The Real Deal
article on Los Angeles developer Arman Gabay's lawsuit against the city. The suit claims Los Angeles violated California housing law when it nixed a project it had previously approved. Mr. Leaderman explains that though Mr. Gabay may come with his own "baggage" — he currently faces federal bribery charges — the developer may have a valid legal argument.
"There are very strong merits to the case and the city could be exposed to a significant loss here," Mr. Leaderman said.
