Labor, Employment and Benefits Partner Phillip Schreiber was cited in a Chicago Tribune story offering ways that companies can support employees during the post-election period. The 2020 election season has been particularly difficult to navigate, and uncertainty over the results add to the stress. Mr. Schreiber said that employers should take extra care to maintain a safe and non-hostile work environment and that employers may need to remind employees about anti-harassment and social media policies.
"It's really important for employees to feel that they can come to work regardless of political viewpoints and not feel like they will be attacked for them in the workplace," he said.
