Holland & Knight’s New DC Leader Still a New Yorker at Heart

Public Policy & Regulation attorney Janene Jackson was featured in a Law360 article discussing her career and goals as the new executive partner of the firm's Washington, D.C., office. In her new role, Ms. Jackson oversees the operations of the office, which now employs 330 attorneys and staff and has grown by 26 percent over the last five years. Ms. Jackson said her priorities as executive partner include guaranteeing excellent service to clients and making sure attorneys and staff feel happy and supported. She added she would also like to expand the firm's presence in D.C. as well as continue to prioritize pro bono work as part of the firm's commitment to giving back.

Ms. Jackson is originally from New York but has built a decades long career in Washington, D.C., working in various roles, including a clerkship role with the District's Superior Court, before joining Holland & Knight.

"I got the clerkship and my legal career started here," she said. "And I consider myself very fortunate in that it did."
