Father's Fight for Justice Seeded Path to Daughter's Success

Deputy Managing Partner Tiffani Lee was interviewed by the University of Miami School of Law's Miami Law Magazine about her journey to becoming a successful attorney and her commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Inspired by her father's fight against racial discrimination in his workplace, Ms. Lee pursued a legal career and has spent the past 26 years at Holland & Knight, where she has pioneered diversity initiatives as the firm's Diversity Partner before joining the senior leadership team as deputy managing partner in April 2024. She explained that her experience with mentors like Chesterfield Smith, one of Holland & Knight's founders, instilled in her a desire to give back.
"I was the first in my family to go to law school and benefitted from several great mentors," she said. "I feel obligated to pay it forward."
