Tax attorney Joshua Odintz was quoted in a Bloomberg Tax article about multinational companies' push for expanded tax benefits on foreign-earned income amid Senate negotiations on a federal tax bill. He highlighted strong business support for the proposed Tillis bill, which aims to enhance deductions related to intellectual property repatriated to the U.S. and ease limitations on foreign tax credits under the Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI) regime.
"On the international tax provisions, I think there's a real interest in the Tillis bill becoming law," he said.
