'What Excellence Looks Like': FSU Trustees Extend President's Contract
Partner Vivian de las Cuevas-Diaz, deputy section leader of Holland & Knight's Real Estate Section, was quoted in an article from Tallahassee Democrat reporting that Florida State University's (FSU) Board of Trustees unanimously approved a three-year contract extension for President Richard McCullough, a move that would keep him in the role through August 2029. In her remarks to the board, she voiced support for McCullough's leadership and highlighted the positive momentum the university has experienced during his tenure. Ms. de las Cuevas-Diaz, who serves as the board's vice chair, also noted that trustees recognized accomplishments such as record retention and graduation rates, expansion of the FSU Health initiative and opening of the Herbert Wertheim Center for Business Excellence.
