Distinguished Leaders: Ken Racowski, Holland & Knight
Litigation attorney Kenneth Racowski, who co-leads Holland & Knight's Antitrust Team, was featured in a Q&A with The Legal Intelligencer as part of the leadup to the awards ceremony for its 2026 Pennsylvania Legal Awards. Mr. Racowski was named an honoree in the Distinguished Leaders category, and he told the publication his guiding principle when building and leading case teams is that everyone has a valuable role to play and meaningful input to share. He puts this philosophy into practice by seeking to empower junior attorneys and associates to take ownership of their work and proactively contribute strategies, adding that he counts witnessing success in the lawyers and law students he has mentored among his most memorable achievements.
"We get the best results for clients by working together," he said. "I always say – I'm not an oracle and don't have a monopoly on good ideas. I want to hear everyone's thoughts and need them to feel comfortable speaking up."
He also commented on the role of technology in the future of the legal profession. He stressed that "AI will never replace the human judgment and values of an experienced, diligent and thoughtful attorney," cautioning practitioners to become conversant in new tools but to remember that mastering the facts, thinking through issues and drawing on creativity to solve client's problems form the irreplacable core of a lawyer's job.
