Holland & Knight Continues Expansion of National Intellectual Property Practice Group With Addition of R. David Donoghue in Chicago
CHICAGO – R. David Donoghue has joined Holland & Knight's national Intellectual Property Practice Group as a partner in the Chicago office. He is one of a number of attorneys who have recently joined Holland & Knight's intellectual property practice. Donoghue joins Holland & Knight from the law firm of DLA Piper where he was special counsel.

Donoghue focuses his practice on intellectual property disputes, with a significant patent litigation focus, and is actively involved in both asserting and protecting his client's intellectual property assets. He has experience in a variety of technology areas, including cellular telephony, computer software, automotive technologies, satellite radios, electrical and electronic products, pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, and numerous medical devices. Donoghue also has extensive intellectual property licensing experience. He is the author of the Chicago IP Litigation Blog, which tracks IP litigation cases in the Northern District of Illinois.
