Martin Alexander Elected to Board of Governors of NOVA Southeastern's Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship
West Palm Beach, FL – May 17, 2010 – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Martin Alexander, a partner in the firm's West Palm Beach office, was elected as the newest member of the Board of Governors of the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at NOVA Southeastern University.
The board consists of more than 40 members who have achieved success in the business world and serve as a resource to the school.
Alexander practices general commercial and corporate litigation, representing corporate and individual clients in wide-ranging contractual and business disputes. He is a member of the Board of Children's Harbor, having served a number of years as its chairman, and is a graduate and member of Leadership Broward (Class VIII) and Leadership Florida (Class XII). Alexander also serves on the Ad Hoc Committee on Rules and Procedures for the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, and is a former President of the Federal Bar Association, Palm Beach County Chapter.
Alexander received his B.A. in English, with high honors, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Florida, and his J.D. from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review.
