Holland & Knight Partner Suzanne Gilbert Appointed to American Bar Association Leadership Positions

Orlando, Fla. – August 16, 2011 – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Suzanne Gilbert, a partner in the firm's Orlando office, has been appointed to two American Bar Association leadership positions. Gilbert will serve as the Chair of the Standing Committee on Meetings and Travel and as Co-Chair of the House of Delegates Committee on Delegate Involvement.

Gilbert was appointed to the Standing Committee by incoming President Bill Robinson and to the Delegates Committee by the Chair of the House, Linda Klein. The Delegate Involvement committee studies ways to fully engage all members of the House in the work of the House and encourage them to take more active roles in other segments of the American Bar Association. Gilbert represents the Orange County Bar Association in the House of Delegates.

Gilbert serves as the practice group leader for the firm's Central Florida Litigation Group, and practices in the areas of business and commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and bankruptcy and creditors' rights. She is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was named in Florida Super Lawyers magazine as one of the Top 50 Women for 2011.
