Cynthia Burnside Presented with Visionary Award from Georgia Association for Women Lawyers

ATLANTA – May 30, 2012 - Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Cynthia Burnside, a partner in the firm's Atlanta office, received The Visionary Award from the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL). The award was presented on May 10, at GAWL's Annual Dinner.

Established in 2004, The Visionary Award is presented to a GAWL member who has shown the characteristics of being forward thinking, creative and working for the best interest of GAWL. Ms. Burnside is a past Secretary, Treasurer, and Programs Committee chair for GAWL and served as a mayoral appointee to the Atlanta Commission on Women from 2005 to 2007.

Ms. Burnside concentrates her practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation, including employment litigation and appellate representation. She has been recognized as a top lawyer in her field in Georgia Trend's Legal Elite and Georgia Super Lawyer magazine.
