Holland & Knight Strengthens Florida Government Advocacy Team with Addition of Kimberly Case and Beth Vecchioli

Tallahassee, Fla. – July 23, 2012 – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce the expansion of the firm's Florida Government Advocacy Team with the addition of Kimberly Case and Beth Vecchioli.

Case and Vecchioli will be senior policy advisors and work in the firm's Tallahassee office.

"We are thrilled that Kim and Beth will be joining our state-wide team," said Governor Bob Martinez, chair of the firm's Florida Government Advocacy Team. "Both of these women have long careers of public service and are widely admired for their work on legislative issues. The firm's insurance and financial services clients will especially benefit from their strong regulatory experience and advice."

Case has 15 years of experience in state government, most recently serving as legislative affairs director and policy advisor for Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and former Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum. Prior to her work with the attorney general's office, she was the legislative affairs director for the Florida Department of Financial Services. In addition to her executive branch experience, Case worked in the Florida House of Representatives as a policy analyst and deputy staff director of the House Majority Office.

Vecchioli represents clients in the areas of insurance regulation, lobbying and financial services matters. She was a senior level manager and regulator at the Florida Department of Insurance/Office of Insurance Regulation for more than 10 years. Vecchioli also has worked as a senior analyst for the Florida Department of Banking and Finance. Most recently she has been a government consultant in the private sector representing insurance and financial services clients before the Florida legislative and executive branches.
