Holland & Knight Adds Labor & Employment Partner in Northern Virginia
Tysons Corner, Va. (May 28, 2014) - Kara Ariail has joined Holland & Knight's Northern Virginia office as a partner in its Labor & Employment Practice Group. She represents employers in all types of employment law matters, both counseling clients on ways to minimize their risk of liability and defending employee claims and lawsuits.

Ms. Ariail works with companies in a number of industries, including corporate services, healthcare and real estate, and well as government contracting. She regularly advises employers on personnel matters, including performance management and leave and disability issues; developing and implementing EEO and other policies and procedures and providing related training; conducting compliance audits; and preparing, interpreting and enforcing employment agreements. Ms. Ariail is a frequent lecturer on employment law issues.

Ms. Ariail received a B.A. degree cum laude from American University and a J.D. degree from William and Mary School of Law. She served as editor-in-chief for the William and Mary Bill of Rights Journal. She was most previously a partner with the law firm of Jackson Lewis.
