Holland & Knight Adds Three to Energy & Clean Technology Team
WASHINGTON (May 27, 2015) – Holland & Knight announced today that Taite McDonald has joined the firm's Energy & Clean Technology Team as a senior policy advisor in its Washington, D.C., office. Also joining the firm are Nathan Kron as senior public affairs advisor and Stephen Bolotin as public affairs advisor. All were previously with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
Ms. McDonald works with energy and clean technology companies to develop and execute strategies to access government grants, loans and contracts across multiple state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Defense. She has helped companies obtain hundreds of millions of dollars in grant funding and low-cost financing as well as multi-million-dollar procurement contracts. In addition, she assists companies in developing strategies to leverage public and private financing mechanisms to successfully commercialize innovative energy technologies.

Ms. McDonald is a frequent speaker on topics related to renewable energy and government finance and has spoken at dozens of conferences and events, including the BIO World Congress, the Advanced Biofuels Leadership Conference, the Association of Defense Communities Advanced Energy Summit, the Power-Gen International Finance Forum and the Cleantech Group's Global Cleantech 100 Summit.
Holland & Knight's Energy & Clean Technology Team includes more than 30 energy attorneys and professionals throughout the United States and Latin America who have extensive industry experience and insight gained from previous positions held within the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Energy and Commerce Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Florida Governor's Action Team on Energy and Climate and various energy companies, including importers of liquefied natural gas.
