Tiffani G. Lee Honored With Lawyers in Leadership Award by University of Miami School of Law
MIAMI (March 23, 2021) – Holland & Knight Diversity Partner Tiffani G. Lee has been honored by her alma mater, the University of Miami School of Law, with the Lawyers in Leadership Award, sponsored by Miami Law's Center for Ethics and Public Service. The virtual ceremony took place on March 18 and was followed with a discussion about diversity in the legal profession.
The Lawyers in Leadership Award recognizes leading members of the Florida bar and bench who are distinguished by their dedication to public citizenship and leadership.
"UM Law School's Center for Ethics and Public Service is thrilled to honor Tiffani Lee with our Lawyers in Leadership Award," said Professor Anthony V. Alfieri, director of the Center for Ethics and Public Service. "A standout academic and campus leader and a law student founder of the Center for Ethics and Public Service, Tiffani exemplifies the best of UM Law and the best of our profession in trailblazing an equitable and inclusive path for the next generation of citizen lawyers in our local community and across the nation."
Ms. Lee has served as Holland & Knight's diversity partner since 2008. In that capacity, she devotes substantial time leading firmwide initiatives to further develop an organization and a culture in which all talented individuals, including those traditionally underrepresented in the legal profession, can have a path to long-term success.
In the community, Ms. Lee is a member of the Orange Bowl Committee, Greater Miami Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, and the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Professionalism Panel. She is also a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami.
Ms. Lee recently finished a book chapter, "A Racial Reckoning in the Midst of a Pandemic Accelerates Pursuit of Racial Equity," that will appear in a book titled Accelerating Trends in Law Firms to be released in August 2021.
